Southeastern Michigan Football Coaches Recruiting Night and Student-Athlete Seminar
December 5th, 2007-Cass Tech High School-Detroit, Michigan 6pm-9pm

When you think of great collaborations, what comes to mind?  Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen or Tom Brady and Randy Moss?  Currently, Southeastern Michigan is witnessing one of the newest great collaborations taking place involving THE BORN2DOTHIS FOUNDATION AND TOTAL STUDENT ATHLETE.  This collaboration is dynamic because it is bringing something unique and exciting to Southeastern Michigan.

The Southeastern Michigan Football Coaches Recruiting Night and Student-Athlete Seminar showcases two great events in one spectacular night.  The coaches recruiting night (6pm-9pm) will give local high school football coaches the opportunity to network and interact with college coaches from across the country.  Over 155 high school coaches have been invited and over 100 colleges and universities have been invited.  It is in the best interest of the student-athlete for their high school coach to attend.  This event will give local high school football players the much needed exposure given the exceptional talent in this area.

Furthermore, the Student-Athlete Seminar (6:30pm-8pm) is a great opportunity for parents and high student-athletes to gain beneficial information as it relates to being successful student-athletes.  The theme is this event is “Building Your Resume”.  This seminar will introduce the Born2dothis Foundation (a 501 c 3, with a focus on student-athletes and their motto is “Without Academics There Are No Athletics).  The foundation will discuss the various programs they offer to develop successful student-athletes.  In addition, Total Student Athlete will discuss their book entitled “Win the 4th, Win the Game” which maps out all 4 years of a student-athletes high school career.  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to gain the needed knowledge to succeed in today’s challenging society for student-athletes.  This event is open to all high school student-athletes and their parents.  This event is free of charge and space is limited.
